Highly Selective and Sensitive Sensor Based IL and CMC-MWCNTs Nanocomposite for Rutin Determination

Rutin is a natural antioxidant flavonoid compound with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiviral effects that used to prepare drugs wide application in clinical treatment. Therefore, the quantitative detection of rutin has important practical significance. In this work, novel electrochemical sensor based on glassy carbon electrodes (GCEs) modified sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), multi-walled nanotubes (MWCNTs), 1-butyl-3-methylimid (ionic liquid, IL) was developed for super-sensitive rutin. The properties these materials were analyzed by transmission electron microscope (TEM), cyclic voltammograms (CVs), electrochemical-impedance spectroscopy (EIS). CMC disperse MWCNTs further enhance their hydrophilicity biocompatibility. improved sensitivity detection. square-wave voltammetry (SWV) technique showed linear range concentration determination 0.01 μM 1 µM 10 µM. minimum 0.83 nM 6.6 nM, respectively. proposed presented good selectivity successfully content pharmaceutical tablets. These results are consistent those measured ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC). latent value analysis food drug tablets nutraceutical samples.
